Commitments

If chosen to participate in the Amgen Bio-Mentes Program,the student is committed to the following:

  •  To keep a minimum overall and major grade point average of 3.00. A grade of D or F in any course will result in the end of participation in the Bio-Mentes Program.
  •  To comply with all the requirements of the program with respect to research, presentations and bi-weekly submissions to the Bio-Mentes blog.
  •  To perform undergraduate research in campus during the three academic semesters of:
    •  Second Semester 2007-2008 (Jan-May 2008)
    •  First Semester 2008-2009 (Aug-Dec 2008)
    •  Second Semester 2008-2009 (Jan-May 2009)
  •  To present research results in the Amgen Bio-Mentes Annual Meeting.
  •  To provide and official transcript of academic progress to the Bio-Mentes campus contact every semester.
  •  To be periodically evaluated and subject to end of participation in the Bio-Mentes Program if performance criteria are not met.
