Requirements
Must be an undergraduate student enrolled in the UPR campuses of:
- Cayey
- Humacao
- Mayagüez
- Medical Sciences
- Río Piedras
Must be a student from the department or colleges of:
- Biochemistry
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Engineering
- Industrial Biotechnology
- Industrial Microbiology
Must graduate on or after May, 2009.
Your major and overall grade point average must be 3.00 or higher.
Must be interested in performing undergraduate research in the areas of:
- Industrial Biotechnology
- Industrial Microbiology
- Biochemistry
- Bioprocess Engineering
- Bioengineering
- Bioseparations
- Biostatistics
Must be available to perform undergraduate research in your campus all of the three semesters:
- Second Semester 2007-2008 (Jan-May 2008)
- First Semester 2008-2009 (Aug-Dec 2008)
- Second Semester 2008-2009 (Jan-May 2009)
